If you're like us, you're probably on virtual conference calls at least a few times a day lately. But have you ever turned on your computer's camera to find that your makeup doesn't look as flawless on-screen as it does off?

CLOVE + HALLOW Founder and CEO, Sarah Biggers-Stewart, shows you a few tips and tricks for altering your makeup for video meetings, interviews, wine nights with your friends... or even a first date.

A few key takeaways:

  • Use eye drops to nix and prevent eye redness.
  • Amplify the creases of your lids so your eyes don't get lost.
  • Use a heavy hand with your mascara and brow products so your lashes and brows show up on-screen.
  • For your complexion, use only concealer. Low video quality will make any redness or uneven texture disappear, so foundation is unnecessary.
  • Blush is everything—you don't want to look washed out! Then use the same hue on your lips to pull the whole look together. (Sarah used Lip Glaze in Spicy here.)
